Bandai Golf - no sound -help appreciated

Gentlemen, apologies in advance in appearing to have only joined to to get help, honestly I havent!!



I won this game on EBay (not the one above, that's Rik's that is!) and it arrived today. Powering up I found there was no sound. I opened it up and found one wire was disconnected. I rejoined it but nothing. I spent a good hour or so messing about trying to get it working with no success. I contacted the seller and they said it had no sound when they bought it. I told him I'd just keep it anyway.

I managed to take a little speaker out one of those really annoying Xmas cards andtry and fit it. I can now hear a buzzing sound but theres still no actual game sound. I tried swapping the wires over and get the same thing. The 2 red wires are well fixed to the actual board.

Any tips on anything to try would be great.
