a couple of days ago a friend of mine was at work (at a local warehouse), and he and his crew were instructed to clean out of a few of the storage closets. knowing my hoarding disorder & love of all things retro gaming, my awesome friend immediately called me to say he found something very interesting.

i couldn't believe my ears. when sped there and was shown the loot, i couldn't believe my eyes: an entire pallet of untouched Adventure Vision consoles complete in the box, and another pallet of untouched game cartridges for said system. after a quick phone call to the owner, he really had no interest as he had explained that he needed to quickly make room and told me to just take whatever i could fit into my car. of course what i did was make a few trips and take everything. wouldn't you?

after being away all Easter weekend, i'm now here to proudly say that i've got 20 mint systems and 200(!) copies of Space Force. while i'm interested in keeping most of the systems, i've got to get rid of some of these games!

i am seriously laughing too hard to even finish this post. check today's date.

Damn. What a coincidence. I ran into a original shipping box with 10 Entex Black Knight pinballs in a small village toy store in Belgium this weekend. Stinking like s**t, but hey, they look mint. They cost me 75€.

Also pre-ordered the Apple iPlay today, with a special old-school release of Angry Birds in VFD look.
