|
|
I have been searching a long time online and at car-boot sales and charity shops for a game that I probably had between 1980-1984 in the UK. It was a small (black?) box, similar proportions to the original gameboy maybe. A little smaller and thicker.
It had a plastic karate / kung-fu type character "lying" on the face maybe a couple of centimetres high. Each of the the figure's 2 arms and 2 legs could be pushed and slid in two different positions (up and down). Each arm and leg had a little LED light next to it. 4 lights in total.
The idea of the game was something like Simon.... the lights flashed in a sequence and you had to memorise the sequence and slide each of the karate man's arms or legs in the same order.
I can't for the life of me remember it's name, or make. I seem to recall it took one 9V rectangular battery.
I have tried looking through the excellent Hand Held Museum but my task has been hindered by not having a clue what it is called or the fabricator.
Any help would be gratefully accepted. |

Thanks a million. that's exactly it. How easy is it to find' and what sort of price should I expect to pay?
I see there is one for sale on a UK website at the equivelent to around $80. Is that reasonable? |

I bought mine on eBay about 5 years ago for $14... That's the best price reference I have. $80 seems a bit much. |
