Well, why don't we just use this thread to start posting high scores? These can be in VFD, LCD or LED games. I guess we'll sort it out later when Rik gets the sub-forum set up. Here are the rules that everyone seems to be agreeing on:
1. The game must be set on the hardest setting. Entex games that have a speed dial must be set on the fastest possible setting.
2. LED sports games like Mattel Football are scored by adding the total number of points from both teams together for a final score.
3. Pictures may be posted (and preferred, we wanna see!), but not required.
4. In games that wrap around scores (say every 2000 points like Tron), you may add the total score together and post it. Scramble, Tron etc have 'bars' that track this. Games like Bandai Galaxian do not, so you'll have to keep track manually.
That's it! Feel free to post questions or comments with your scores. I'll dig out some of mine later and post 'em. Good luck! _________________ Playin' the world, one game at a time... |

I'm trying to think now, are there any games that just stop at 1999 or something? Or do most of them at least wrap around to 0000 and start over? |

Some of the LCD games just freeze up when you max them out (Tandy King Kong for example), but most games just keep on going and start from zero again. All of the VFD games I've played that max out at 2000 roll over again. Then again, I have nowhere near the amount of games that you do, so I'm not sure if that is common, or just common in the games I own.
I suppose if we find a game that maxes out at 2000 or 9999 or whatever, then we can just remove it from the board or list the maxed out score as the final high one. _________________ Playin' the world, one game at a time... |

Just create a new thread in the High Score forum and title the thread the name of the game like what's already there. If it's a game not on the 'Master List' I'll just add it on.
(Make a new thread for each game...)
