Have you ever pressed the "refresh" button on your site to make the toll that shows how many people looked at your site higher? _________________ Emulators are for the non collectors |

That shouldn't have any affect on it. The site counter remembers what IP address you are coming from, and only registers the hit once (or maybe once within a time period like an hour or a day, not sure).

Yeah, it depends on how you set up your counter... I can tell my counter to count every single hit no matter what, but I have it set up to register hits from unique IPs. This only works if you have cookies enabled too, if you disable cookies, I think it will count every time. It's never really accurate anyway, but just a 'guideline'. Mine doesn't show an exact number any more, so it's hard to see if it's doing now anyway. (Well, I can see an exact number I guess if I check the counting site, but I never really bother... ) |

Yeah if the cookies are off the counter will register every hit. One of the first thing your learn to do in javascript is a counter. No cookies, no IP adress. _________________ Keep on playing... no matter what ! |
