Ok, since I have quite an experience in this stuff I'm into it!
If you do a bank transfer using the international banking coordinates from OUTSIDE the Euro zone, including the UK and obviously the US it will cost you A LOT of money!!When I did this in the UK i had to pay for a £30.00 game almost £ 20.00 pounds in banking fees!! And who receives the payment has too to pay several fees for the transaction. From WITHIN the Euro zone if you do a bank transfer online as most people do, it will cost you €uro 0.75 cents ,so just about a dollar.Rik if you want and if you give me the IBAN and the BIC and the name of the owner of the banking account ,I can make the bank transfer to Spain,it will take me 2 minutes to do it and you will recharge my paypal account so saving you all the displasures (see costs or travel to your bank or possible problems with the seller) of doing such an international money transfer.

In these circumstances I usually just send cash through the post... Not the safest method perhaps, but I've only had a problem where it was 'lost in the post' once - and that was sending to Italy where the postal service is notorious!

Yeah, I usually do that to. I'll get Euros from my bank and send them.

Alex- I'll definitely take you up on this. I've just sent the seller the shipping info and requested a total. I'll let you know when I hear back and we'll go from there. Thanks a lot, I appreciate it.

Thank you but the pleasure is mine!!If I can help someone here I'm really happy to do it!!It's not called communty for nothing! Very Happy
If there is a way, simplier ,faster and with less risks to do the the things why not use it?Online banking has been such a breakthrogh in our lives ,it really changed the way we do those things now and how we used to do then.

I don't wan't to be too sciovinistic but in recent years the italian posts got really better ,with lots of online services (even there it has been a great change for italian people)and speedy deliveries.I would rather blame it on who was supposed to receive the money. Wink

Rik, I had a close look at the Rosy today and I'm still not sure how the display works. It's either multi layered micro LED's or a bulb shining through a variety of coloured holes. I can't make out which it is Confused . It's definately not VFD's though.

The game came with a purse stuffed full of real 5 Peseta coins with a few 1 Pesetas and tiny ? Peseta coins too.

If it's not being too cheeky Rik, please would it be OK for my daughter to keep one of each coin for her coin collection? There are plenty more for use with the game Wink

It must have been considered some kind of money bank as there is no obvious way of getting the money back out. I didn't put any money in as I didn't want it rattling about all the way to the USA!

I'll get my wife to pack it up well and I'll send it on to you.

Neil.
