Hi there, I was doing some homework on my site, adding some informations about the games like ,years of manufacturing, type , batteries ... , when I reached the Bandai Card Baseball
http://www.handheldmuseum.com/Bandai/CardBaseball.htm
As you can see there is no year of when it was build, so I did a little googling and came out with this interesting document :
http://www.softic.or.jp/en/cases/Epock_v_Bandai.html
It's full of interesting data ,apart the REAL name of the game which is "LSI GAME Card Baseball Exciting Stadium" .
But what, in my opinion shows ,is what ( business, patents, legal wars) behind an obscure and secondary game.
Ah....Bandai had to pay for each game they sold!

Wow, it must have sold well, that judgment is for a little over $1,000,000 + interest... I think even at 1998 exchange rates...
Cool find though, I'll have to post that on the Card Baseball page. |
