Not sure what section to put this in but anywy, I did a forum search and can't find anything - does anyone know of a handheld emulator for Apple Mac (OSX)? like the MAME thing?

Hi ! have you tried the MESS emulator ? I know that there is a MAC version and this emulator can emulate virtually any old platform (Atari, colecovision, Arcade etc...) providing you download the right files for the platform. It is a bit akward to use at first but it does work fine, here is the link : http://www.mess.org/download.html

I don't think MESS does any handheld games except Adventure Vision...
Unfortunately, there's no easy way to get the tiny amount of code present in a handheld off the chip, so a true emulator is impossible to make. The only things that exist are the simulators that people make where they try to imitate the game play as best as possible.
I don't think any are made for Mac though... Here's some links:

Thanks. they have a windows emulator but no OSX - I am sure one will turn up eventually. |
