Hello everybody! I'm new to this website and I'm very happy to be here! I have a little problem that I need help with. I just got this game from 'Momandboysshop', it is THE best hand-held electronic game store on e-bay. The game is called "Thoroughbred", and it's by BANDAI. This game looks like A LOT of fun, but unfortunately, I can't figure out how to play it because the instructions are in Japanese, and I don't speak Japanese. I was hoping somebody out there in Handheldmuseum land might be able to help me. Whether they have already played the game before, or maybe they can direct me to where I CAN get help, or if they know Japanese, or perhaps they might know somebody who DOES know Japanese. I could scan the instructions to someone's e-mail address or send them right here to Handheldmuseum's website. PLEASE! SOS! I HOPE SOMEBODY OUT THERE, SOMEHOW, SOMEWHERE, SOMETIME, CAN HELP ME!! I don't want this cool rare, awesome game to go to waste and collect dust in my drawer or closet, just because I was never able to figure out how to play it because I can't read the instructions! Thank you everybody VERY much for taking the time to read my message, or, rather, my plea. Not just plea, pleas? Please?
All The Best,
Mona |

Is it a Japanese-only game? What is the name of it, guess Japanese don't put Thoroughbred on it. Can you post the original (kata)kana name here?
If not, maybe it is easier to find a foreign version. Googling the name you give does not deliver anything except for a list of items to sell on Ebay on this forum, probably from your mommy's boy .

That guy packs the stuff like women pack dresses on Etsy. Almost with too much love | Hi, blanka. Thanks so much for responding to my question about the game. Actually, I forgot to mention that the game DOES, in fact, have the name in English printed on the package, and I made a mistake about the name of the game. It isn't just, "Thoroughbred", it's, "Thoroughbred Maker". I left out that second word. Ya, I believe I have looked at that guy's store from the UK before. You're right about how much he packs his stuff! Etsy!! I LOVE IT!! Thanks again. Hope to talk to you again.
All The Best,
Mona
P.S. Forgot to mention that, yes, Mommy's boy has been on this website quite a few times. |

There is not much info about it.... | Hello, blanka. Yeah, I believe that's on the package. Most of the package is in Japanese obviously, but like I said, they did, in fact, put the name in English on the package, "Thoroughbred Maker". Thank you so much for your help. Tell me about it!! Don't I know there's not much information about this darn game! Well, actually that's incorrect. I couldn't find ANY information about it! Anyway, my search must continue. Something tells me it's going to be a treacherous journey. Thanks once again for your help, blanka. You're super awesome.
All The Best,
Mona |

I always try the Japanese name on Youtube. In this case it does not help, but often you will see other stuff than when using the english name. Google is not so smart it tries the katakana version of a name too. |
