hello,

today i'll complete the programming of the forthcoming Crazy Chewy (vtech) simulator.

the game is great, and the simulator is almost done, very close to the original game. Smile

I just miss SCANS FROM INSTRUCTIONS MANUAL for the VTech version.

on the museum there's the Innovator Electronics version, but it's not good for my purpose.

I know that Rik has the VTEch version, I sent him a request via email, but got no reply.

Does anyone own the ENGLISH manual for that game, VTech version?

I need scans ASAP!

Sorry I hadn't responded... Not that I'm ignoring you, but I just don't know exactly where the game is... Rolling Eyes I do have it, with the instructions (according to my inventory list), it's just in storage (I believe I've used that excuse before...).

If anyone else has it, please help out! If not, I can try to get to it this weekend. I do really need to sort through the stuff in storage so I can find things quickly, there's just never enough time! Cool

Rik

That reminds me, if there are other instructions you need that you think I might have, remind of them... I may get lucky and find them as well.

OK the Crazy Chewy simulator has been coded entirely - including AI routines for ghosts - work quite well Smile

I just lack the instructions manual scans. I'll release the game as soon as Rik (or some one else out there!?!?!) sends me the scans.

Please send before sept. 18th, cause the game is scheduled for release on sept. 19th.

Thanks! Smile

I dug through my games yesterday and found the Vtech tabletops... Unfortunately, there was no instruction sheet in Crazy Chewy... Looking back at the auction listing when I bought it, it shows the game, box and styrofoam inserts only, no manual. I must have incorrectly wrote down that I had the manual... Sorry about that.

I got the Dragon Castle manual though, I'll get that scanned for you.

the game was published, without the manual. Sad

i also published updates to:

donkey kong - nintendo multi screen
chicky woggy - vtech handheld
chicky woggy - vtech tabletop

which featured a tiny bug in the score-rendering routines

all files at: www.madrigaldesign.it/sim

enjoy!

ps. next week i'm releasing vtech "baseball" from the explorer time & fun series (the missing simulator of that series, now it's complete!)

Have you printed out the PDFs on the museum? I make them so when compared side-by-side with the originals, you can barely tell them apart (if at all) (except for the type of paper...) Smile I also examine nearly every pixel to make sure there are no dirt specs or other problems. That's why it takes a while to post them, it can take me several days to do one... I'm kind of a perfectionist about it...

I have the Dragon manual, not sure if I scanned it yet though, I'll look on Monday. (on vacation...)
