Got a decent German packaged version of The Dracula sold by Schmidt Electronics, Orange frame, with box (box has some image loss on the front due to peeling, but is otherwise solid). I think I paid about 30 all said on fleabay (nabbed it as a BIN within an hour of listing).
It works fine, but the joystick has minor responsivity issues, chiefly, up.
I see that this game is in the guts section. Any suggestions on how to attack and resolve this? |

Hi!
I wish I had one of those, but I do love to fix these games!
Not exactly sure what kind of joystick it has, but I've had some luck simply cleaning the pads with contact cleaner. Especially if it has those rubber pads with the conductive grey stuff on the back. That stuff gets corroded too. Clean the back of the button that completes the circuit on the board and clean the pads on the board too. |
